Elena Vill, native of Moscow, I have resided in Barcelona for the last 10 years. I started my artistic career making portraits and painting traditional Russian souvenirs. From there and after experimenting with different mediums, I stayed with oil on canvas, which I adore.
As I started capturing images of interesting motif for my paintings, I understood, photography itself was fascinating! And if I could improve my photography skills, automatically it will have a positive impact for my artwork.
Now painting and photography are both my passion, such as capturing collective happiness of a family picture or the peaceful breeze of a late afternoon landscape...
